History

ISOAB was founded 1967 by Sven Olsson. His background as an engineer came from sales work at different manufactures like Gullfiber (producer of glasfiber insulation ) and engineering companies as Max Siewert ( furnace manufacturer ) After experience from contracting at Anderssons Isolering and starting up the Scandinavian office for Johns Manville the time was there to start his own.

The idéa with ISOAB was to use the knowledge and contacts from previous and create an own business. In order to get a quicker payback ISOAB started with contracting in the building and repair field meaning repairs and maintenance of industrial roofs. In the meantime the market for insulation material was built up.

1980 Anders Olsson joined the company, After examine at CTH, Chalmers Tekniska Högskola, chemistry.The company has grown and together they included the agency from Cape, for the marine and industrial market. An other important supplier became Sigri, and German producer of syntactical graphite.

2014 the contact with Promat ( ex Cape ) was renewed and at the same time the third generation of Olsson was engaged in company, Johan Olsson. He will be educated at KTH, Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, as a naval engineer and will bring a lot of useful knowledge to the company.
